Fields of research:
- development of innovative optical / quasi-optical technologies and nanoengineering of materials;
- use of nanotechnologies and nanomaterials in applied physics and telecommunication devices;
- development of technology to increase the efficiency of anisotropic materials in micro- and nanoelectronic devices;
- computerized development of high-efficiency cells for controlling electromagnetic radiation in the visible and subterahertz regions of the spectrum;
- development and creation of electro- and acousto-optical devices for control of terahertz radiation.
Scientific and technological services:
- development, manufacture and research of crystalline nanocomposites with different water-soluble and non-water-soluble nanocrystallites;
- complete characterization of crystalline materials of arbitrary symmetry class: determination of their refractive indices, all elastic, piezoelectric, electro-, piezo- and elastic-optical coefficients, acousto-optical quality parameter, necessary luminescent and microraman measurements;
- study of spatial anisotropy and optimization of the geometry of electro-, piezo-, acousto- and nonlinear optical interactions in anisotropic materials;
- electro- and nonlinear optical studies of nanostructured crystalline materials and corresponding nanocomposites, their Raman studies.
